Red mica used in this toy was variable size and therefore is more visible in the form of larger flakes. These did not show evidence of sitting on the surface or rubbing out, like too large flecks or pigment pockets. Toy is safe.
UV image is not accurate due to the usual UV light used for photos dying, and new light having a blue tinge to it.
