Alone in the mountains, you decide to camp down for the night. But shortly after you pitch your tent and light your fire, you hear a rustling in the bushes. Two eyes peer at you with a humanoid shape but a leonine glow. Grabbing your flashlight, you turn it on the hulking form hidden away to see a sharp-featured human face surrounded by thick, ruffled mane and attached to a monster’s body, with a long, segmented scorpid tail. The Manticore plods one heavy paw towards you, and then another, asking in a gravelly voice, “Looking for company?”
